1) Select a Brodart Fold-On Book Jacket Cover that is as tall or taller than your publishers dust
jacket. If the cover isn't long enough to cover the end flaps, select the next size, or use the
roll version of the covers.
2) Place Book Jacket Cover (film side down, paper up) on a clean flat surface.

3) Remove dust jacket from book and insert it (printed side down) between center-slit reinforcing
paper and film.

4) Position one edge of the dust jacket tightly against either edge of cover where film and paper are
glued together.

5) To adjust, fold opposite edge of cover and backing along the edge of the dust jacket and crease.
Use a bone folder or an implement such as a dull table knife for a precise crease. Although it
probably won't be necessary, you may tape the adjusted jacket edge to paper backing.

6) Reposition the covered dust jacket around the book.
To preserve the value of your book,
keep adhesive from touching the book or its dust jacket.
